Volunteer Application and Approval Process

Crisis Pregnancy Outreach (CPO) is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our clients and volunteers. As part of this commitment, we have a comprehensive Volunteer Application and Approval Process.

The process involves three steps:

Volunteer Application: Prospective volunteers must complete the Volunteer Application below. This application serves as the initial step in the screening process.

Background Check: As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe environment, CPO conducts a thorough background check on all volunteers through Protect My Ministry. This background check is mandatory for individuals involved in client services. The level of intensity of the criminal background check may vary depending on the specific volunteer position.

Orientation: Volunteers who successfully pass the background check are required to attend an orientation session. During this session, volunteers will review CPO’s policies and procedures related to their designated area of volunteering. At the end of the orientation, volunteers must sign a document indicating their understanding and agreement to comply with the policies.
